1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using NY Notary Hub (nynotaryhub.com), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use this site. These terms apply to all visitors, notary listing submitters, and other users.
2. Not Legal Advice
All content on NY Notary Hub is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice. Notary law, fees, procedures, and requirements can change. Always verify critical information with the NY Department of State at dos.ny.gov or consult a licensed attorney for legal guidance specific to your situation.
3. Directory Listings
Regarding notary listings in our directory:
- Listings are submitted by notaries and reviewed by our team before publication. We do not independently verify every claim.
- We reserve the right to accept, reject, or remove any listing at our sole discretion.
- Notaries are responsible for keeping their listing information accurate and current.
- Submitting a listing with false information may result in removal and reporting to the NY DOS.
- Listing in our directory does not constitute an endorsement of any individual notary's services.
- Users are responsible for verifying a notary's active commission status before engaging their services. Commission status can be verified at the NY DOS website.
4. Notary Listing Submitter Rules
By submitting a notary listing, you represent and warrant that:
- You hold an active, valid NY notary public commission
- All information submitted is accurate and truthful
- You are authorized to submit the listing (i.e., it is your own listing)
- You will update your listing if your information changes
- You will not submit duplicate listings or listings for other individuals without their explicit consent
5. Exam Content and Educational Materials
The practice exam questions, flashcards, and study guide content on this site are based on publicly available NY notary license law. They are intended as study aids only. Passing our practice exam does not guarantee passing the official NY notary exam. Always study the official NY DOS Notary Public License Law booklet.
6. Limitation of Liability
NY Notary Hub is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
