How the Directory Works
NY Notary Hub is a free listing directory for NY-commissioned notary publics. Notaries submit their own listings, which are reviewed by our team before going live. All listings are free - we do not charge notaries to be listed, and we do not charge consumers to search the directory.
We verify that listing submissions include a valid NY commission number and county, but we do not independently verify every credential claim made by listed notaries. Users are encouraged to confirm a notary's commission status directly with the NY Department of State before engaging services.
Notary commission status can be verified at the NY DOS license lookup tool.
